Enterprise Test Analysis with Google ADK

Your enterprise agent uses `list_projects` and `get_project` to fetch the status of all test runs across your organization through the MCP integration. It pairs this structure with BigQuery data to map testing velocity against deployment frequency. By feeding entire build histories from `list_builds` into Gemini's long-context window, your Google ADK agent spots recurring flaky tests over months of runs. It pinpoints exactly which OS configurations fail most frequently without needing manual report parsing.

Targeted Pipeline Debugging

The agent uses `get_session_logs` to retrieve full text execution logs and `get_session` to read the exact failure reason. It processes these huge text blocks instantly inside the Gemini 1M+ token context window. This setup allows your agent to cross-reference logs with historical Vertex AI training runs. It discovers whether test failures stem from recent model updates or infrastructure hiccups.

Resource Management and Cleanup via MCP

To prevent runaway costs, your agent calls `get_plan` to check queued sessions and parallel usage. If it detects orphaned runs, it executes `delete_session` to free up your testing queue immediately. You can configure the `tool_names` filter in your Python setup to restrict these destructive tools. This ensures your enterprise agent can read logs but cannot accidentally delete active builds.

Setup guide

Set up BrowserStack MCP in Google ADK

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • google-adk package (pip install google-adk)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install Google ADK

    Run pip install google-adk to install the Agent Development Kit. MCP support is included via the McpToolset class.

  2. 2

    Connect via SSE transport

    Use McpToolset.from_server() with SseServerParams pointing to your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Create an LlmAgent

    Pass the returned mcp_tools list directly to LlmAgent(tools=mcp_tools). The ADK maps each MCP tool to a native Gemini function call — no manual schema definitions required.

  4. 4

    Run with any Gemini model

    The agent works with any Gemini model (gemini-2.0-flash, gemini-2.5-pro, etc.). Copy the full example on the right to get started with BrowserStack tools in your ADK agent.

agent.py
from google.adk.agents import LlmAgent
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_toolset import McpToolset
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_session_manager import SseServerParams

# Connect to the MCP via SSE
mcp_tools, exit_stack = await McpToolset.from_server(
    connection_params=SseServerParams(
        url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
    )
)

# Create your agent with auto-discovered tools
agent = LlmAgent(
    name="BrowserStack_agent",
    model="gemini-2.0-flash",
    instruction="You have access to BrowserStack tools via MCP.",
    tools=mcp_tools,
)

Common questions about BrowserStack MCP in Google ADK

Install google-adk and initialize McpToolset with the server URL. Pass it into your LlmAgent tools array to let Gemini access your automated test suite.
Yes, you can use the tool_names filter when setting up the toolset. This lets you restrict access to destructive operations like delete_build while keeping read-only tools active.
Gemini's large context window allows the agent to ingest massive outputs from get_session_logs. It analyzes hours of test executions in a single turn to find root causes.
Yes, the connector supports both HTTP and Stdio transport protocols. You can run the server locally or host it securely on Vinkius.
The server handles sensitive data like test execution logs, video URLs, and project IDs retrieved by get_project. Vinkius isolates this traffic in ephemeral sandboxes, ensuring your proprietary enterprise test logs never leak into public training sets.
