…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Builder MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Builder to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build CMS-driven components with Cline and this MCP Server
The `get_model_schema` tool acts as the foundation when Cline builds new frontend modules. Cline reads the schema, writes the React code, creates the CSS, and hooks up the API fetch call. You do not need to write boilerplate code. This MCP connection lets the agent construct complete, type-safe components based on your actual live Builder.io configurations.
Sync visual blocks directly from the Cline sidebar
The `create_visual_block` tool allows Cline to push new layout designs directly into your Builder space. You describe the layout, and Cline writes the JSON structure and executes the tool to create the block. To modify existing layouts, Cline uses `update_visual_block` to apply precise patches. Your CMS stays in lockstep with your local code changes without manual data entry.
Inspect Builder media assets inside VS Code
The `get_media_file` tool retrieves metadata for your uploaded images and videos so Cline can write accurate image components. Cline checks dimensions and file types directly from the API response before writing the frontend code. It avoids broken layout bugs caused by unexpected asset formats. You get pixel-perfect components because your agent knows the exact media specs before writing a single line of CSS.
