Connect Buildium MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Buildium to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build custom dashboards with Cline
This MCP Server provides the `list_properties` and `list_units` tools to feed live rental data directly into your local code files. Cline reads these endpoints, writes the frontend React components, and populates them with your real-time property inventory. You tell Cline to build a property vacancy tracker. The agent calls `list_units`, drafts the UI code, imports the data, and runs a local server to show you the working dashboard in your sidebar.
Generate maintenance markdown reports
The `list_work_orders` tool retrieves active maintenance requests from your portfolio. Cline uses this tool to scan for overdue repairs, writes a markdown summary, and saves it to your workspace. You don't have to copy-paste tasks manually anymore. Cline checks `get_property` for context, matches it with the open work orders, and formats a clean report for your property managers.
Export tenant directories via Cline
The `list_tenants` tool pulls your complete resident directory into the VS Code terminal environment. Cline calls this tool to gather names, contact info, and unit assignments for any data migration task. If you need to seed a local database, Cline runs `get_tenant` for specific records and writes SQL insert scripts automatically. This cuts out the manual export-import hassle from the Buildium web interface.
