How to Use the Buildkite MCP in Cline
Cline handles your deployments by talking to Buildkite for you.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Buildkite MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Buildkite to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline automates Buildkite pipeline tasks
Tell Cline to deploy a feature and it uses `create_build` to start the process. It waits for the result and reports back once the job finishes. `list_pipeline_builds` allows the agent to check previous runs. Cline uses this history to determine if a fix is actually working.
Debug your builds using Cline
Cline runs `get_build` to fetch detailed logs for any job. It identifies errors and suggests code changes based on those specific build results. If you need a fresh start, the agent invokes `rebuild` to push your latest changes back through the pipeline. It handles the entire verification cycle.
Inventory organization resources via MCP Server
Use `list_pipelines` to give Cline a map of your project structure. This MCP Server lets the agent see exactly what it can trigger. It lists all available organizations with `list_organizations` to prevent cross-project mistakes. Cline knows exactly where to send your build requests.
