How to Use the Cakemail MCP in Cline
Give Cline the power to build marketing dashboards and manage Cakemail lists inside VS Code.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Cakemail MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Cakemail to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build live Cakemail dashboards in Cline
Tell Cline to build an internal dashboard, and it will write the React code, query `get_account_info` for your metadata, and wire up the UI. Connect this MCP Server to feed live performance metrics using `get_analytics` to display real-time open and click rates. No more copying JSON payloads back and forth. The agent writes the components, tests the API connection, and shows you the live diff inside your VS Code workspace.
Direct contact list management via MCP Server
Cline interacts directly with your subscriber database using `list_contact_lists` to audit your active audiences. If it finds outdated segments, it can clean them up or create fresh targets with `create_contact_list` based on your codebase's local test database. You don't need to log into a web browser to manage subscribers. The agent executes the commands, updates your local config files, and verifies the changes using `list_contacts`.
Run end-to-end email tests
Let Cline handle your pre-flight email checks before you hit send. The agent uses `get_campaign` to inspect your layout, checks your sender reputation with `get_account_info`, and confirms your list size using the MCP interface. If something looks off, Cline edits your local template files, syncs the changes back to your draft using `create_campaign`, and verifies the update succeeded.
