How to Use the Cakemail MCP in Cursor
Inject live Cakemail data directly into your code with Cursor. Pull contact lists and campaign stats without switching away from your editor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Cakemail MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Cakemail to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate Code with Live Data
Use the Cakemail tools to pull real contact or campaign data that Cursor's agent can use to write code. Instead of mock data, you get actual results from `list_contacts` or `get_campaign` to build with. Tell the agent, 'Write a Python script to fetch contacts from the "Beta Testers" list.' It will use the `list_contacts` tool from this MCP server to get real data and generate working code with it, not just placeholders.
Manage Cakemail from the Editor
Create new campaigns and contact lists without leaving your coding session. The agent can use `create_campaign` and `create_contact_list` based on your instructions, saving you a trip to the browser. You're in the middle of writing a signup flow and need a new list for it. Just tell Cursor: 'Create a new Cakemail list called "New Signups".' Done. You stay focused on the code.
Check Analytics Inside the Cursor MCP Server
Pull the latest campaign performance metrics right into your chat panel. The `get_analytics` tool gives your agent instant access to your Cakemail logs. This lets you quickly check if that last email blast actually worked. Ask 'Show me the latest analytics from Cakemail,' and the data appears next to your code. No context switching, no lost momentum.
