Terminal-Based Holiday Pipelines via MCP Server
This MCP Server exposes `list_holidays` to your command line, letting Claude Code feed live holiday data directly into shell scripts. You can pipe the terminal output into cron jobs or deployment scripts to prevent automated production releases on national holidays. Claude Code runs the tool, formats the output as clean JSON, and lets you grep or redirect the holiday lists to other terminal utilities. It makes scheduling server maintenance windows completely scriptable from your terminal.
Automated CI/CD Release Checking
The `list_holidays_by_location` tool allows Claude Code to verify regional blackouts during automated deployment runs. You can run Claude Code in a headless environment to check if a target deployment region is celebrating a holiday before kicking off an update. By querying `list_holidays_by_type`, the agent filters out non-working days in specific target countries. It can automatically exit the deployment script with a warning if it detects a critical regional holiday, preventing unsupported releases.
Command-Line Account Management
The `get_account_info` tool gives Claude Code immediate access to your API integration status from the terminal. You can check your remaining query limits and account tier without opening a browser or logging into a dashboard. If your automated scripts start failing, Claude Code runs this tool to verify if your API limits are exhausted. It prints the status directly to your terminal, helping you debug connection issues in seconds.
