How to Use the CaptionHub MCP in Cline
Cline handles your video localization tasks by executing CaptionHub commands directly inside your VS Code workspace.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect CaptionHub MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect CaptionHub to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Run CaptionHub tasks with Cline
Cline acts as your hands-on agent. When you need to `list_projects` or check `get_project_details`, it executes the call and shows you the raw data immediately. You give the command and watch it work. It creates the project file and writes the necessary metadata to your local environment.
Automate video transcription in Cline
Trigger `transcribe_video` for new assets without leaving the IDE. Cline initiates the process and monitors the status until the job finishes. It saves you from manual browser refreshes. You get notified once the action succeeds so you can move to the next coding task.
Export assets using Cline
Grab your finished work using `export_captions`. Cline fetches the URL for you, allowing you to download the files directly into your project folder. It bridges the gap between your remote media and your local code. You have everything you need in one place to finish the build.
