Build tracking dashboards with this MCP Server
The `list_vehicles` tool pulls your entire active fleet roster directly into your editor environment. Your agent uses this live JSON response to write accurate frontend components that match your actual data structures. Writing boilerplate for API integration wastes time. You can tell the AI to build a React map component, and it will use `get_vehicle_position` to populate the initial state with real coordinate data.
Automated driver assignment logic
Invoking `list_fleet_drivers` grabs the current list of authorized operators from the system. Cursor can then write backend routing logic that maps these specific IDs to available trucks. Testing assignment algorithms requires real constraints. The MCP connection allows the agent to call `get_vehicle_details` to check payload capacities, ensuring the code it generates won't assign a heavy haul to a light-duty van.
Fuel and alert monitoring scripts
`list_fleet_alerts` exposes raw speeding and harsh braking events directly to your workspace. Developers can prompt the AI to write a Python cron job that parses these specific event types into a Slack notification via the MCP Server. Calculating efficiency metrics requires accurate baselines. Cursor runs `get_fuel_status` alongside `list_vehicle_trips` to generate SQL migration scripts that perfectly match the telemetry schema.
