Automate Chaport workflows in Cline
Building a custom admin panel requires live data. You tell Cline to create a visitor tracking component, and it immediately calls `list_website_visitors` to get real JSON payloads to work with. This MCP integration doesn't stop at mocking data. Cline pulls specific user sessions using `get_visitor_details` and `get_visitor_last_chat`, writes the rendering logic, and tests the UI against actual production endpoints.
Query operator status via MCP Server
Writing routing algorithms means knowing who is available. Cline fetches your team roster by executing `list_chaport_operators` directly from the VS Code sidebar. It then checks active shifts with `list_online_agents`. If you need to validate token permissions during development, the agent runs `get_my_agent_profile` to confirm your authentication scope before writing the next function.
Read and write messages programmatically
Testing a chatbot integration usually requires Postman and manual API wrangling. Cline skips that by pulling real conversations via `get_chat_history` to train or test your local logic. When you need to verify outbound hooks, Cline fires `send_agent_message` to push a test payload to a live chat. You watch the message appear in your Chaport widget while the agent commits the code.
