Connect Checkly MCP to Claude Code
Create your Vinkius account to connect Checkly to Claude Code and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Trigger terminal-driven Checkly MCP Server tests
The `trigger_check_run` tool executes any API or browser check immediately from your shell environment. Claude Code runs the check, streams the progress, and reports the pass/fail status directly to your terminal. You do not need to open a web browser to verify a deployment. The agent handles the execution and uses `get_check_details` to show you exactly why a check failed if things go south.
Inspect production performance metrics
The `get_check_performance_metrics` tool retrieves latency percentiles and uptime stats for any monitored endpoint. Claude Code pipes this data into your terminal, letting you analyze speed regressions during a deployment. This terminal-first approach lets you script performance checks. The agent runs `list_checkly_checks` to find your target endpoint, pulls the metrics, and alerts you if latency exceeds your thresholds.
Audit alerts and cron monitors from the shell
The `list_checkly_heartbeats` tool fetches all active cron monitors to let you check background job health from the command line. Claude Code displays silent failures and missing check-ins instantly. The agent also runs `list_checkly_alert_channels` and `list_check_groups` to verify your alerting setup. You can quickly audit which channels receive alerts for each service group without leaving your SSH session.
