Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Cilium (eBPF Networking) MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Cilium (eBPF Networking) to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Map endpoints with the Cline MCP Server.
The `get_endpoint` tool retrieves routing targets like container IDs or local addresses. Cline pulls these specific eBPF mappings to write accurate network policies in your repository. When you need a new routing target, Cline fires `create_endpoint`. You ask for a new service mapping, and the agent writes the code, applies the endpoint, and verifies the connection.
Pull cluster node metrics into VS Code.
The `get_cluster_nodes` tool extracts node information stored in the cilium-agent. Cline uses this raw data to generate infrastructure documentation or validate deployment scripts. If a script fails, Cline calls `get_healthz` to check the daemon status. The agent compares the health output against the node list to pinpoint the exact failure point.
Update daemon parameters end-to-end.
The `get_config` tool dumps the current Cilium daemon configuration into your workspace. Cline reads the JSON output to understand your current network constraints before writing new services. To fix a misconfiguration, Cline writes the necessary `patch_config` payload. It executes the tool, updates the daemon, and stages a commit documenting the change.
