Headless Clickatell MCP operations

Run Clickatell SMS infrastructure tasks without ever touching a GUI. You can drop this MCP integration into a GitHub Action or an SSH session to manage messaging at the command line. Tell the CLI to audit your active campaigns. It fires `list_scheduled_campaigns` to identify active arrays. Then it immediately checks your budget using `get_account_balance`.

Script bulk SMS deployments

Firing off Clickatell notifications during a deployment shouldn't require custom API scripts. Your terminal agent handles the payload formatting natively. Pipe a list of on-call engineers to the agent. It structures the JSON and triggers `dispatch_bulk_sms` to hit those 164 boundaries. If a rollback happens, it runs `cancel_queued_message` to vaporize the scheduled drops.

Manage webhooks via CLI

Updating Clickatell HTTP logic bounds for inbound texts is a standard DevOps task. Now you can execute it through natural language in your shell. Instruct the agent to tear down an old routing block. It runs `wipe_inbound_rule` to obliterate the mapping. To spin up a new parser, it calls `upsert_inbound_rule` and verifies the changes with `list_inbound_rules`.

Common questions about Clickatell MCP in Claude Code

Run `claude mcp add --transport http clickatell -- `. Make sure all flags come before the server name. Verify the connection with `claude mcp list`.
Yes. The CLI agent can execute `test_carrier_coverage` to validate MSISDN routes. It returns the automated validation check directly to your standard output.
It does. You can instruct the agent to send a text, and it will use `dispatch_sms_message` to render the outbound SMS natively.
Ask the agent to investigate a specific number. It calls `get_delivery_status` to extract the properties driving the final carrier status.
Vinkius isolates your inbound webhook URLs and MSISDN data in an ephemeral container. The system relies on a managed endpoint token to authenticate. This completely avoids local credential sprawl on your machine.
