Run SQL and vector searches in VS Code Copilot
Use the `execute_sql` tool to fetch live data for your team's code reviews. It allows everyone to work from the same source of truth. Team members can use `vector_search` to pull embeddings during feature development. It ensures the logic matches your actual vector distribution.
Manage your schema from VS Code
Use `list_databases` and `list_tables` to keep your team's local environments consistent. It prevents drift across your development organization. Call `get_version` to check that everyone is running the same database build. This avoids compatibility issues during deployment.
Monitor cluster health via Copilot
The `get_table_stats` tool pulls real-time health metrics. Your team can see the cluster state without needing admin access to the dashboard. It provides a clear view of your runtime limits. You get the data you need to prevent bottlenecks before they happen.
