Control the Clockwise MCP Server via CLI
Terminal workflows usually break when you need to check your schedule. You have to open a browser, find a slot, and manually move blocks around. Connecting this MCP server lets you skip that context switch entirely. Run a quick script to hit `get_calendar_events` and see what your day looks like. If things are too packed, your agent can fire `toggle_autopilot` to let the system automatically reshuffle meetings. You stay in your terminal while your schedule fixes itself.
Protect deep work automatically
Finding uninterrupted coding time is a constant battle for engineers. Meetings fragment your afternoon until you barely have thirty minutes to actually build anything. This setup gives your terminal direct access to your boundaries. Your agent uses `get_focus_time` to map out your protected blocks. When you need more heads-down time, it can push new rules through `update_preferences`. You get uninterrupted hours without ever touching a calendar UI.
Analyze team availability
Scheduling a deploy or a post-mortem requires knowing when everyone is actually free. Guessing based on overlapping blocks is slow and prone to errors. Now you can pull that data straight into your shell scripts. Pipe the output of `get_team_availability` into your custom tools to find the perfect window. Need to see how much time the team spent in syncs last week? Just run `get_meeting_analytics` and `get_time_insights` to dump those stats into your console.
