Build custom front desk tools in Cline
`list_room_types` feeds live occupancy limits and base rates directly to your Cline developer agent. Cline writes the frontend code, connects the API endpoints, and builds a custom booking UI right inside your workspace. The agent uses `check_availability` to verify live inventory while writing tests for your new dashboard. You get a working local application populated with real hotel data in minutes.
Cloudbeds MCP Server powers automated housekeeping alerts
`get_housekeeping` exposes clean and dirty room statuses so Cline can build local scripts that alert your staff. The agent reads room statuses, writes a script to parse dirty rooms, and sets up local notification triggers. It matches room numbers from `list_rooms` to find exactly which suites need immediate turndown service. Cline writes the code, runs the test suite, and saves the file directly to your repository.
Generate automated guest folio reports
`list_transactions` retrieves guest billing records so Cline can generate custom financial reports. The agent writes a script to group transactions by reservation ID and calculate total outstanding balances. It pulls profiles via `get_guest` to match names with invoice histories. Cline outputs clean CSV files and writes the code to compile these reports weekly.
