Direct infrastructure manipulation

Use `create_worker_route` to map your code to specific URL patterns. The agent handles the wiring so you can focus on the logic. If you need to tear down a test environment, `delete_worker` removes the script and all associated resources permanently.

Automated deployment management

Ask the agent to check `list_worker_versions` to find the right build. Once selected, `create_deployment` rolls it out to your live traffic. You can verify the rollout status by calling `list_deployments`. It shows you exactly which percentage of traffic hits your new version.

Live database and state inspection

Query your D1 databases using `query_d1` to verify data migrations. This prevents you from jumping between the editor and the dashboard. Access your KV storage with `get_kv_key` to debug state issues. The agent pulls the raw JSON response directly into your chat window.

Set up Cloudflare MCP in Cursor

Prerequisites

  • Cursor installed (macOS, Windows, or Linux)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Open MCP Settings

Go to Cursor Settings → MCP or open the Command Palette (Cmd+Shift+P / Ctrl+Shift+P) and search for "MCP: Add Server".

  2. 2

    Add the Cloudflare MCP

Cursor will create or open .cursor/mcp.json in your project root. Paste the JSON snippet on the right. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your endpoint token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Enable Agent mode

Open Composer (Cmd+I / Ctrl+I) and switch to Agent mode using the dropdown at the top. MCP tools are only available in Agent mode.

  4. 4

    Verify the connection

Ask Cursor something like "List my recent Cloudflare transactions." If the MCP tools are loaded correctly, Cursor will call the Cloudflare tools automatically. You can also check Settings → MCP for a green status indicator.

Common questions about Cloudflare MCP in Cursor

Create a .cursor/mcp.json file in your project root. Add the server details there, and the agent will detect the tools automatically.
Yes. You can use `create_secret` to inject credentials directly into your worker. The agent keeps these encrypted at rest.
It does. You can request `get_worker_analytics` to see performance metrics. This helps you catch errors in your code while you write it.
Your credentials are kept in your local configuration. The agent only uses them when you explicitly request a tool action.
It accesses your Worker metadata, deployment history, and D1 database records. All of this is handled via standard API calls over HTTPS.
