How to Use the Cloudflare MCP in Windsurf
Use the Windsurf agent to manage your Cloudflare edge infrastructure directly from your IDE.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Cloudflare MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Cloudflare to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Full lifecycle control for Cloudflare workers
Cascade handles your entire deployment pipeline without manual intervention. It uses `list_workers` to audit your current environment and `create_deployment` to push code updates across your edge network. You avoid context switching by having the agent manage `create_worker_route` and `purge_cache` while you focus on writing logic. It keeps your infrastructure state synced with your local repository.
Manage secrets and key-value storage
Inject sensitive data into your environment using `create_secret` without leaving your editor. The agent handles credential rotation by calling `delete_secret` when keys expire. Read your application state by invoking `get_kv_key` or `list_kv_keys`. Cascade parses the JSON output to help you debug configuration issues in real-time.
Deep observability for production traffic
Monitor your edge performance by running `get_worker_analytics` or `get_zone_analytics` to spot traffic spikes. The agent aggregates these metrics to provide a clear view of your system health. Debug live issues by triggering `create_tail_session` to stream logs directly into your terminal. Once you finish diagnosing the error, the agent uses `delete_tail_session` to clean up the stream.
