Debate blueprints with AutoGen

Multiple agents use `list_blueprints` to review your orchestration schemas. One agent might flag a configuration risk while another proposes a fix, forcing a debate before any change occurs. This ensures that every infrastructure decision is vetted by competing perspectives. The agents arrive at a consensus based on the actual blueprint data.

Negotiate deployments via AutoGen

Agents call `list_deployments` to challenge each other on current runtime states. They negotiate the best path for execution based on the structural topologies they discover. Your system benefits from this friction, catching errors that a single agent would miss. It creates a robust check on your cloud management process.

Analyze execution bounds in AutoGen

Use `list_executions` to let your agents monitor cluster limits during a conversation. If an agent detects a performance bottleneck, it triggers a discussion about shifting your resources. This turns your infrastructure monitoring into a collaborative process. The agents keep the cluster within its defined rules through constant dialogue.

Setup guide

Set up Cloudify MCP in AutoGen

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • autogen-ext[mcp] package
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install AutoGen with MCP

    Run pip install "autogen-ext[mcp]" autogen-agentchat. The MCP extension includes mcp_server_tools for stateless tool access.

  2. 2

    Fetch tools from the MCP

    Call mcp_server_tools(SseServerParams(url=...)) with your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Run your agent

    Pass the tools to AssistantAgent and call agent.run(). The agent invokes Cloudify tools and returns structured results.

agent.py
from autogen_ext.tools.mcp import SseServerParams, mcp_server_tools
from autogen_agentchat.agents import AssistantAgent
from autogen_ext.models.openai import OpenAIChatCompletionClient

server_params = SseServerParams(
    url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
)

tools = await mcp_server_tools(server_params)

agent = AssistantAgent(
    name="Cloudify_assistant",
    model_client=OpenAIChatCompletionClient(model="gpt-4o"),
    tools=tools,
)

result = await agent.run("List recent Cloudify data")
print(result.messages[-1].content)

Common questions about Cloudify MCP in AutoGen

Use the MCP tool adapter to convert server tools into a list. Inject these tools into your AssistantAgent constructor to enable infrastructure negotiation.
Yes, that is the point of the framework. Agents debate the data returned by the tools to reach a decision on how to handle your infrastructure.
Your infrastructure data is isolated within the Vinkius sandbox. We use ephemeral sessions so no trace of your deployment remains after the agent discussion ends.
The server supports streamable HTTP transports. This allows your agents to get real-time updates during their debate sessions.
Agents access blueprint schemas, plugin capabilities, and node routing rules. All access is strictly audited, and we ensure your sensitive environment data is never cached.
