Scan URLs and validate links with this MCP Server
The `scan_url` tool checks external web links for malware and phishing risks during autonomous runs. Cline calls this tool whenever it needs to inspect third-party resources before integrating them into your codebase. You can also use `validate_url` and `get_url_metadata` to verify address structures and pull page details. Cline uses these outputs to build clean, verified link directories in your application.
Convert assets and extract text in Cline
The `convert_doc_to_pdf` tool transforms office documents into standard PDFs on demand. Cline runs this tool autonomously when you ask it to build document generation pipelines or handle file uploads in your app. For scraping or parsing tasks, `convert_html_to_text` strips out markup to leave you with clean, readable text. Cline uses this to extract content from web pages and feed it directly into your local database or components.
Validate emails, domains, and phone numbers
The `validate_email` tool checks user email addresses against real-world mail servers to ensure they exist. Cline calls this tool when writing and testing sign-up forms, verifying that your validation logic works end-to-end. It pairs this with `validate_phone` and `validate_domain` to cover all contact form fields. Cline writes the tests, runs the validation tools, and updates your form components based on the actual API responses.
