Build provider directories inside VS Code
The `search_doctors` tool looks up clinicians by name, city, or state across 2.4 million active profiles. Cline uses this tool to grab NPI numbers and enrollment details, then writes the frontend components to display them. You tell Cline to build a search interface, and it writes the React code, hooks up the mock data, and runs local tests. It formats the API payload from the MCP server without you writing a single line of boilerplate.
Analyze hospital ratings with Cline
The `search_hospitals` tool retrieves facility types, location data, and emergency service availability. Cline pulls this information, processes the raw JSON, and writes scripts to filter out low-performing facilities. It uses `get_hospital_ratings` to sort hospitals by their 1-to-5-star scores across specific states. The agent then commits the parsed data directly to your local project repository.
Track CMS open data updates autonomously
The `list_datasets` tool pulls the latest publication dates and last-modified timestamps from the federal catalog. Cline monitors these timestamps to detect when Medicare utilization or quality measures change. When changes occur, Cline uses `get_dataset_metadata` to inspect the updated schema. It then updates your database migrations and local configuration files to match the new structure.
