How to Use the Coalesce MCP in Cursor
Use the Coalesce MCP Server in Cursor to trigger data transformations and pull pipeline metadata directly into your code.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Coalesce MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Coalesce to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Run Coalesce pipelines from Cursor
Trigger your transformations while you write code. The `trigger_job` and `trigger_run` tools let you kick off work without breaking your flow. Cursor executes these calls, allowing you to verify your changes against live pipeline results immediately.
Retrieve Coalesce node metadata in Cursor
Stop context switching to check transformation logic. Pull specific node data using `list_nodes` so you have the right context for your code changes. This keeps your implementation accurate. You work with the actual state of your environment rather than stale documentation.
Track Coalesce job progress within Cursor
Verify your pipeline runs using `get_run_status` and `get_job_details` right in the chat panel. You get instant visibility into whether your recent changes worked. This MCP Server provides the feedback loop you need to build faster. It turns your editor into a command center for your data platform.
