How to Use the Cometly MCP in Cline
Cline fetches your attribution data so you can build dashboards and conversion trackers in one go.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Cometly MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Cometly to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline manages your conversion tracking flow
Tell Cline to check your `list_events` and it fetches the raw data immediately. It doesn't just show you the list; it uses the output to debug your tracking implementation. When you need to verify a lead, Cline calls `list_contacts` to find the specific journey. It pulls the attribution history so you can see exactly where a user came from.
Execute ad campaigns via this MCP Server
Cline runs `list_campaigns` to build a local index of your active ads. It uses this info to suggest code changes that match your current ad spend. It writes the necessary logic to display these campaigns in your frontend. You tell it what you want, and it handles the API interaction.
Automate event logging with Cline
Use `track_purchase` or `track_lead` to fire events from your local environment. Cline writes the test code to ensure these events pass through to your dashboard correctly. It handles the API calls so you can focus on building features. You define the event, and Cline writes the implementation.
