Full Conflux network visibility in Windsurf

Cascade can pull live data from the blockchain to debug contract interactions. It uses `cfx_get_balance` and `eth_get_balance` to check account status instantly. Stop switching windows to view chain state. Your agent pulls block details using `cfx_get_block_by_hash` or `eth_get_block_by_number` to verify deployment results.

Automate Core Space contract execution

Windsurf handles complex transactions by chaining tool calls. You can trigger `cfx_call` to check read-only contract state before attempting a write operation. It handles gas math for you using `cfx_estimate_gas_and_collateral`. This ensures your transactions don't fail due to miscalculated fees before you commit them to the network.

Trace transactions within this MCP server

Get clear receipts for any activity on the network. The server uses `cfx_get_transaction_receipt` to confirm if your code actually landed on-chain. Search through logs with `cfx_get_logs` or `eth_get_logs` to find specific events. Your IDE agent parses these outputs to report errors or success flags immediately.

Setup guide

Set up Conflux MCP in Windsurf

Prerequisites

  • Windsurf IDE installed (macOS, Windows, or Linux)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Open MCP configuration

Click the Cascade assistant icon in the sidebar, then click the hammer icon (🔨) at the top of the panel. Select "Configure" to open ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json.

  2. 2

    Add the Conflux MCP

Paste the JSON snippet shown on the right into the mcpServers object. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your endpoint token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Refresh MCPs

Go back to the hammer icon (🔨) in Cascade and click "Refresh". Windsurf will detect the new server. No full restart is needed — the connection is hot-reloaded.

  4. 4

    Verify in Cascade

Start a new Cascade conversation and ask something like "Show my Conflux payment history." If connected, Cascade will call the Conflux tools directly. You will see a green dot next to the server name in the MCP panel.

Common questions about Conflux MCP in Windsurf

Open your MCP settings panel in Windsurf and add the server configuration. Once saved, Cascade will automatically detect the tools and start querying the network for you.
Yes, it can. By using `cfx_send_transaction` or raw transaction methods, you allow your agent to submit signed payloads directly to the network.
The server never stores your private keys. You manage your signing credentials locally or via your wallet provider, keeping your secrets out of the MCP layer.
It fetches public blockchain data like account balances, transaction receipts, and block logs. It only reads and submits what you explicitly authorize.
No. All network queries are ephemeral and handled in memory. Your transaction history remains on the blockchain, not in our server logs.
