How to Use the ContentGroove MCP in Cursor
Inject live video highlight data directly into your code while using Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect ContentGroove MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect ContentGroove to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate video imports in Cursor
Trigger `create_media_from_url` to ingest video files straight from your editor. The agent processes these imports and returns the data you need for your codebase. Use `create_direct_upload` to generate secure endpoints for your media. It keeps your file handling logic inside the editor instead of a separate dashboard.
Inspect media metadata within Cursor
Query your entire media library with `list_media` to see what projects are available. You get an immediate list of your files without leaving your current file. Get granular details on any project with `get_media_details`. This allows the AI to write code that accounts for your specific video properties.
Retrieve clips using Cursor tools
List all generated clips for a project using `get_media_clips`. It allows your agent to reference specific highlight markers while writing your implementation. Pull specific clip details with `get_clip_details` or view your entire clip history via `list_all_clips`. You can now build features that react to real video highlights in real-time.
