Write code with live Cooper Hewitt data in Cursor
Feed real museum metadata straight to your active workspace. Cursor uses `get_object_info` to grab actual design records, meaning you write code against true API payloads instead of guessing with mock data. You can quickly inspect API structures without leaving your editor. This MCP Server exposes `spec_formats` and `spec_methods` so your agent knows exactly how to format incoming JSON.
Build design apps using the Cooper Hewitt MCP Server
Stop hardcoding placeholder color schemes. Let Cursor fetch actual historical palettes with `get_object_colors` and write them directly into your CSS or Tailwind configurations. Your editor can also pull down design assets on the fly. Running `get_object_images` lets your agent reference real museum assets while building frontend UI components.
Generate layout mockups with real museum exhibitions
Populating a gallery UI is easier when you use actual museum layouts. Cursor calls `get_exhibition_objects` to fetch real items, giving you authentic test data for your database seeds. You can even test error states in your code. The `test_error` tool lets you verify how your application handles API failures before you deploy.
