Query Cooper Hewitt exhibitions inside VS Code Copilot
Bring historical curation data directly into your team's development environment. VS Code Copilot calls `list_exhibitions` to pull museum layouts, making it simple to build museum-themed applications. Your team can easily reference physical gallery spaces. This MCP Server exposes `list_rooms` and `list_sites` to help you map digital objects to real-world Smithsonian locations.
Inspect design history with this custom MCP Server
Stop manually searching museum websites for design metadata. VS Code Copilot uses `get_object_info` and `get_object_participants` to fetch historical details about physical objects and their creators. You can also pull down visual assets for your frontend mockups. Running `get_object_images` lets your agent grab verified image URLs to populate your image tags.
Fetch authentic color palettes for VS Code Copilot
Grab historical design colors for your UI themes. VS Code Copilot invokes `get_object_colors` to output exact color palettes from the museum's collection directly into your active workspace. If you need random inspiration, `get_random_object` lets you discover unexpected design pieces. Your agent can then extract their metadata to seed your test databases.
