Cline builds research pipelines using this MCP Server
This CORE (Open Access Research) MCP Server enables Cline to fetch paper data and write custom ingestion scripts. Cline runs `search_articles` to gather matches for your topic, then writes a Python script to structure the results. It uses `get_article` to retrieve specific paper records. Cline then creates the database schema, imports the metadata, and runs local tests to verify the pipeline works.
Fetch raw PDFs and extract text autonomously
Cline handles the full loop of finding and downloading research using the CORE (Open Access Research) toolset. It triggers `get_article_pdf` to fetch the direct document link, downloads it, and uses local tools to parse the text. If you need to verify the source, Cline runs `get_journal` to fetch the publisher metadata. It writes a clean markdown report of the paper's origin in your workspace.
Audit academic repositories from your sidebar
This CORE (Open Access Research) MCP Server lets Cline search global academic databases using `search_repositories` to find hosting platforms. It analyzes the results and writes a configuration file mapping out the active endpoints. When searching with this server, Cline calls `resolve_oai` to fix any broken identifiers. It modifies your project database records to use the corrected URLs.
