Connect CORE (Open Access Research) MCP to VS Code Copilot
Create your Vinkius account to connect CORE (Open Access Research) to VS Code Copilot and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Standardize research tools in VS Code
Commit the server config to your repo so every engineer uses the same `global_search` parameters. It keeps your team on the same page. Use `search_articles` to gather background info for a sprint. The shared config ensures consistent data retrieval across the whole team.
Automate citation retrieval in VS Code
Call `get_article_pdf` to pull documentation directly into your workspace. It saves time for everyone on your team. Use `get_article` to resolve details without leaving the IDE. This keeps your focus on building features rather than searching for links.
Monitor academic journals in VS Code
Run `search_journals` to keep up with new publications in your field. It provides a steady stream of data for your team to review. Call `get_journal` to verify ISSN data. This ensures your team uses valid, up-to-date sources in their work.
