Pipe Cosmic CMS data to Claude Code terminal

`list_bucket_objects` identifies bounded routing spaces inside your headless environments and outputs them to your shell. Claude Code can pipe this list directly into local scripts or configuration files, automating your deployment pipelines. For deeper debugging, Claude Code uses `get_single_object` to pull cloud logging data for specific payload IDs. You can inspect raw JSON outputs without ever leaving your terminal window or opening a web browser.

Automate schema audits and exports

`list_schema_types` enumerates all structured rules and active types currently configured in your bucket. This MCP Server lets Claude Code audit your CMS schema before you run database migrations or deploy backend updates. Claude Code then combines this with `get_schema_details` to verify that your local code matches the live fields. If there is a mismatch, the agent alerts you immediately so you can patch your types before committing.

Bulk purge content and media assets

`wipe_cms_object` vaporizes explicit content nodes from your active bucket with a single terminal command. When tearing down staging environments, Claude Code runs this tool to drop live document rows in seconds. To avoid orphaned files, Claude Code calls `wipe_media_asset` to clear the associated assets from the disk. This dual-cleanup process keeps your headless buckets lean and prevents storage bloat in your development pipeline.

Common questions about Cosmic MCP in Claude Code

Yes. Claude Code uses `list_bucket_objects` to read content from one bucket and `create_cms_object` to write those drafts to another.
It chains `list_uploaded_media` to find unused files and `wipe_media_asset` to delete them, automating your asset house-cleaning via CLI.
Yes. You can run Claude Code headlessly to query `list_schema_types` and verify content models before running production builds.
It supports both stdio and HTTP/SSE transports. You can add this MCP Server using the `claude mcp add` command with your Vinkius endpoint token.
All JSON payloads, bucket keys, and media metadata are processed inside an ephemeral, zero-trust V8 isolate. Vinkius ensures that your MCP Server handles sensitive CMS data without persisting it on any intermediate logging server.
