Build UI components with Cline and Cosmic
`list_schema_types` fetches the active content types and validation rules from your headless environment. Cline uses this structural data to write React or Vue components that perfectly match your CMS fields, eliminating guesswork. To fetch actual content, Cline calls `get_single_object` to pull real payload IDs into your workspace. Cline then writes the fetching logic and tests the component against live API responses right inside VS Code.
Manage media assets during development
`list_uploaded_media` inspects your deep asset arrays to verify which images are available in your bucket. Cline runs this check to find existing assets before generating new component placeholders, preventing duplicate uploads. If Cline detects outdated files, it calls `wipe_media_asset` to remove them from your disk storage. This keeps your asset library organized while Cline builds out your media-heavy landing pages.
Stage new content drafts automatically
`create_cms_object` provisions highly-available JSON drafts directly inside your headless bucket. When you ask Cline to add a new blog post template, it generates the JSON payload and pushes it to your CMS instantly. Cline then uses `patch_cms_object` to fill in draft values or fix structural errors. You can watch Cline chain these edits in real-time, moving from schema validation to a completed live draft.
