How to Use the Countly MCP in Cursor
Inject live product metrics into your codebase with the Countly MCP Server inside Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Countly MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Countly to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Sync Countly events with Cursor code
Call `read_events` to pull custom event logs straight into your editor. You can write code that reacts to actual user behavior patterns. `record_events` allows you to push test data while building features. It verifies your tracking logic in real-time.
Query analytics via this MCP Server in Cursor
Use `read_metrics` to fetch session counts while you write your analytics dashboard. The agent reads the output to help you structure your database schema. `read_drill` lets you filter data by specific user segments. It helps you build responsive features based on real-world usage.
Manage user sessions from your editor
Run `begin_session` or `update_session` to test how your backend handles user state. You stay focused on your logic rather than switching windows. `end_session` cleans up your test environment. It keeps your development database tidy during feature sprints.
