Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Cube.dev MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Cube.dev to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Code with Live Data in Cursor
`load_query` fetches real aggregated metrics while you write frontend components. Instead of mocking up fake JSON responses for a chart, your agent pulls the actual data structure from the semantic layer. `list_entities` lists all available cubes and views in your project. Cursor reads this list, understands your business logic, and autocompletes the exact dimension names you need for your API calls.
Execute Raw SQL Mid-Flight
`execute_cube_sql` runs raw queries against the SQL API without leaving the editor. When you are writing a custom backend route, you can test the exact syntax against your live semantic layer. `get_sql` returns the underlying database query for debugging. If your new endpoint is slow, you can see exactly how Cube translates your request before you commit the code.
Check Deployments Before Committing
`list_deployments` pulls down every active Cube Cloud instance you have access to. You can verify which staging environment is currently running before you point your local code at it. `check_ready` hits the health endpoint to confirm the deployment is actually accepting traffic. Your MCP agent handles the verification step so you do not waste time testing against a down server.
