How to Use the Dastra MCP in Claude Code
Manage GDPR compliance from your terminal. Claude Code connects to Dastra to automate privacy requests and ROPA updates via CLI.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Dastra MCP to Claude Code
Create your Vinkius account to connect Dastra to Claude Code and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Script your privacy workflows
Grabbing your Dastra environment variables requires `list_workspaces` and `list_tags`. Terminal users hate web portals. You can now manage compliance directly from your command line before running any bulk operations. Piping data becomes trivial. A cron job can trigger your agent to check for new privacy tickets using `list_dsr`. It reads the output and forwards the relevant IDs to your infrastructure scripts.
Headless breach reporting
Executing `create_breach` inside a CI/CD pipeline flags Dastra security incidents automatically. If a security scan fails in GitHub Actions, Claude Code catches the exit code and logs the event. The compliance team gets alerted before the build even finishes. Auditing past failures works the same way. SREs can ask the CLI to pull historical data via `list_breaches`. The terminal outputs the exact timestamps and impacted systems without ever opening a browser.
Dastra MCP Server ROPA automation
Checking your Dastra state against your infrastructure relies on `list_processings`. Keeping processing activities updated usually falls on DevOps. Now you just tell your terminal to sync your latest deployment. Modifying records happens instantly. If a user requests account deletion, you run a quick script that triggers `get_dsr`, processes the database drop, and fires `archive_dsr` to close the loop.
