How to Use the Deepgram MCP in Windsurf
Let Windsurf control your audio pipelines with the Deepgram MCP Server.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Deepgram MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Deepgram to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Audio processing in Windsurf
Cascade can pull audio files from your local environment and send them to `transcribe_audio_url` without you typing a single word. It handles the request and drops the text output straight into your active file. Stop wasting time on manual transcription. This MCP Server lets your agent ingest meeting recordings or voice notes while you focus on the actual code.
Monitor your Deepgram usage
The `get_project_usage` tool lets Windsurf query your current billing status and active limits. You get an immediate summary of what you spent this month. Having these metrics in the chat window prevents surprise overages. Cascade checks your quota before firing off high-volume batch jobs.
Manage keys inside Windsurf
Use `list_api_keys` to audit your security posture without leaving the editor. You can see which credentials are active and ready for your next request. Cascade verifies your environment setup by calling `list_deepgram_projects` to confirm connectivity. It ensures your credentials match the active project before starting any work.
