How to Use the Deskpro MCP in Cline
Cline turns VS Code into a Deskpro command center, pulling tickets and shipping fixes without leaving your editor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Deskpro MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Deskpro to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
End-to-end support resolution
The Deskpro MCP Server gives Cline the ability to read and act on live customer issues. You ask the agent to fix a reported bug, and it grabs the exact error logs using `get_ticket_details`. Writing the code is only half the job. After creating the component and running tests, your AI client uses `update_ticket_properties` to notify the user that their problem is solved.
Managing users via the MCP Server
Debugging with this MCP Server requires knowing exactly who is experiencing the fault. Cline executes `get_user_profile` to fetch environment variables and subscription tiers associated with the reporter. Comparing that data with `list_user_organizations` reveals if an entire enterprise client is down. Your agent then prioritizes the fix based on the severity of the outage.
Webhook and API maintenance
Support infrastructure needs regular monitoring through the MCP Server to ensure messages actually reach your team. Cline can run `check_api_health` to verify connectivity before deploying major backend changes. If notifications stop working, the agent calls `list_configured_webhooks` to audit your active endpoints. The system spots broken URLs and generates the code needed to repair the integration.
