Connect Discourse MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Discourse to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Run autonomous forum audits with the Discourse MCP Server
`list_latest_topics` pulls recent discussions while Cascade chains subsequent lookups to map user activity. The system executes sequential checks across your forum categories without asking for manual confirmation at every step. You specify the target metric, and the agent coordinates `list_trending_discussions` and `get_topic_details` to build an activity report. It handles the entire sequence of API calls in a single run.
Map community groups and member lists
`list_community_groups` retrieves the group structure of your forum to identify key segments. Your agent can immediately pass those results to `list_group_members` to build a complete directory of specific cohorts. This integration bypasses manual dashboard navigation entirely. Cascade resolves the relationships between groups and individual accounts in seconds.
Instant context retrieval for support issues
`search_community_content` scans your public and private channels to find existing answers to user problems. The agent pulls the exact post content using `get_topic_details` to verify if a solution is still valid. This setup lets you verify forum history before drafting new replies. You get the full thread context directly in your workspace.
