…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect DNSimple MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect DNSimple to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Full Domain Control in Windsurf
Cascade manages your entire DNSimple lifecycle. You can trigger `create_domain` or `transfer_domain` directly within your project context, keeping infrastructure changes linked to your current feature branch. Windsurf reads your environment and executes complex sequences like `batch_change_zone_records` without manual intervention. It maps your intent to the correct API calls instantly.
Automated Security with Windsurf
Protect your assets by enabling `enable_dnssec` through your agent. Cascade monitors your security posture and can apply `enable_whois_privacy` to newly created domains as part of your standard setup routine. Your agent handles the heavy lifting for certificate lifecycle management. It uses `issue_letsencrypt_certificate` and `download_certificate` to keep your services secure while you focus on building features.
Email Routing and Zone Management
Manage your communication infrastructure by calling `create_email_forward` through the Windsurf chat. It keeps your routing rules synced with your codebase, avoiding the need to switch between tabs. Cascade handles the technical details of `activate_zone_dns` and `check_zone_distribution` to ensure your records propagate correctly. It validates the state of your zones before marking a task as complete.
