Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect DOAJ MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect DOAJ to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Sync your library to DOAJ autonomously with Cline
Running `create_article` lets Cline handle the entire metadata lifecycle without requiring step-by-step prompts. This MCP toolset lets it extract DOIs from your drafts, verify them, and write a script to register each new paper. If a paper already exists in the system, Cline detects the conflict and switches to `update_article` to overwrite the older record. It manages the entire loop and outputs a clean markdown log of the changes.
Submit journal applications via this MCP Server
Using `create_application` bypasses the slow manual entry usually required to index a journal. This MCP server lets Cline submit structured JSON updates directly to the directory's review board. The agent checks your local configuration files to pull the correct journal ID, inserts it into the admin parameters, and triggers the submission. It handles the API handshake and reports back with the registration status.
Embed peer-reviewed data into your local code
Executing `search_articles` makes it simple to back your software's documentation with hard science. Cline runs complex queries to find open-access papers matching your code comments, then downloads the full metadata with `get_article`. Once the data is retrieved, Cline writes the bibliographic references directly into your README files. You get verified academic context without ever switching windows.
