…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect DOAJ MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect DOAJ to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject live metadata into your code
Use `search_articles` to fetch real-time data while you build your application. Your AI agent retrieves actual records, not static mocks. This gives your code access to current scholarly information. You can map these responses directly into your data models without manual intervention.
Automate article submissions
Trigger `create_article` from your editor to register new research findings as you code them. This links your development environment to the live index. It removes the need for manual form filling. The agent handles the API calls while you focus on the logic.
Maintain records via Cursor
Use `update_article` to patch metadata errors instantly. Your agent can correct records during your build process if data validation fails. This keeps your registry state in sync with your codebase. It's a faster way to handle metadata maintenance than switching between tools.
