How to Use the Docamatic MCP in Cline
Cline uses Docamatic to build, merge, and capture documents directly from your VS Code workspace.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Docamatic MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Docamatic to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline handles PDF creation end-to-end
Instruct Cline to build an invoice and it will execute `generate_pdf_from_template` for you. It fills the JSON data and saves the file to your project folder. No more manual coding for document layouts. Cline identifies the template and maps your data automatically.
Combine document batches with Cline
Use `merge_multiple_pdfs` to stack your generated reports into a single file. Cline runs the tool and reports the final path in your terminal. It also supports adding specific elements to existing files using `add_elements_to_pdf`. You give the instruction, Cline performs the edit.
Web rendering for Cline projects
Convert any web component or URL to a document using `generate_pdf_from_html`. Cline manages the conversion process and saves the artifact. Need a visual record? Use `take_web_screenshot` or `generate_image_from_html`. Cline captures the page and adds it to your workspace instantly.
