Render live code outputs using the Docamatic MCP Server
The `generate_pdf_from_template` tool feeds structured JSON data straight into pre-designed document templates from your workspace. Your agent calls this tool to verify code outputs by producing real, physical files instead of mock terminal logs through the MCP interface. This integration changes how you debug document generation code. You can query `list_available_builtin_templates` to see standard structures and let the editor auto-fill the required JSON payload.
Convert active web code to images and PDFs
The `generate_pdf_from_html` and `generate_image_from_html` tools turn your working front-end code into static assets. Your agent reads your local workspace files, feeds the HTML to the server, and returns the rendered output. If you are building a dashboard, the `take_web_screenshot` tool lets you capture full-page rendering behaviors. This provides a fast way to verify CSS print stylesheets without manually opening a browser.
Modify and merge build assets programmatically
The `merge_multiple_pdfs` and `add_elements_to_pdf` tools let your editor compile complex multi-part documents. Your agent automatically stitches together individual cover pages and reports into a single file. You can also keep tabs on all generated outputs by calling `list_generation_history`. This keeps your workspace clean while ensuring you have a clear audit trail of every asset created during development.
