…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect DocsGenFlow MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect DocsGenFlow to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline automates document generation cycles
Give Cline a task and it triggers `generate_document` using your provided JSON data. It maps fields to templates and saves the result to your current working directory. You avoid manual file handling because the agent manages the entire loop. It populates templates and saves the final output in one go.
Direct template management for Cline
Call `list_templates` to see what is available for your current project. Cline identifies the correct template and uses `get_template` to verify the required fields. This lets the agent build custom documents without you leaving the VS Code window. It is built for developers who need to generate reports or contracts on the fly.
Track DocsGenFlow history in Cline
Use `list_history` to pull recent generation logs into your chat context. This helps the agent debug or reference past documents without switching tools. If you need a specific file, `get_document` retrieves the metadata. You can then use `download_document` to pull the raw content into your project.
