Connect Drata MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Drata to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline runs automated compliance audits
Cline uses `drata_list_tests` to pull real-time security data from your cloud environment. It identifies misconfigured buckets or disabled MFA settings instantly. You tell Cline to fix a specific control failure found in `drata_list_controls`. It reads the technical requirements and helps you write the code to bring that resource back into compliance.
Track vendor risk with Cline
Cline queries `drata_list_vendors` to verify if your supply chain meets your security standards. It checks if sub-processors have completed their questionnaires. If a vendor is missing a SOC 2 report, Cline flags it. You can then use `drata_get_control` to see how that specific vendor impacts your overall readiness score.
Audit policy acknowledgment in Cline
Cline fetches `drata_list_policies` to find documents requiring an annual refresh. It identifies which policies have low employee acknowledgment rates. Use `drata_get_policy` to pull the exact version history and owner assignments. Cline makes it easy to see who needs to review what before your next big audit.
