Connect Ecwid MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Ecwid to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Catalog Management via Windsurf MCP Server
The `search_products` tool lets Windsurf scan your entire storefront inventory. You give Cascade a target—like finding all items tagged for a summer sale—and it pulls IDs, SKUs, pricing, and stock levels without you clicking through a dashboard. Once it finds the target items, Cascade can chain into `get_product` to pull deep attribute data or SEO info. If stock needs adjusting, it fires `update_inventory` automatically. You just watch the logs as your store updates in real time.
Order and Customer Auditing
The `search_orders` tool exposes fulfillment and payment statuses straight to your editor. Cascade reads the parameters, fetches the matching records, and parses buyer details and order totals. If a specific transaction looks weird, the agent hits `get_order` for the exact ID. It can then run `search_customers` to pull up the buyer's history. You get a complete audit trail written into your workspace without leaving the IDE.
Store Configuration and Logic
The `get_profile` tool gives your agent read access to the core Ecwid store configuration. Windsurf checks this to understand your base settings before it attempts to write custom logic. For promotional campaigns, Cascade calls `list_categories` and `list_coupons`. It can even hit `get_app_storage` to read custom app state data, allowing the agent to map out complex discount rules across specific product categories.
