Build custom LMS portals with Cline
Cline calls `list_courses` to pull your catalog and build custom UI dashboards. It retrieves your active course catalog and uses `get_course_details` to populate your custom UI components with real data. It writes the React code, hooks up the API calls, and runs local tests to verify everything works. You end up with a working course portal without writing a single line of boilerplate.
End-to-end enrollment flows in your IDE
Let your agent handle student sign-ups using `enroll_in_course`. Cline manages the tedious work of registering users and checks their status immediately with `list_enrollments`. If an enrollment fails, Cline inspects the API response, updates the student profile using `update_user_profile` to meet prerequisites, and retries the action. It handles the errors so you don't have to.
Live grade monitoring via this MCP Server
Cline fetches student scores directly into VS Code using `get_course_grades`. Stop logging into administrative panels to export grades; your agent pulls the raw data right to your workspace. It can then parse those grades, build a markdown report of struggling students, and commit the file to your repository. It connects your LMS data directly to your project files.
