Connect Ellie Planner MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Ellie Planner to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate tasks directly from your code
The `create_task` tool translates your TODO comments into actual Ellie Planner items without forcing you to leave Cursor. Your agent reads your codebase and schedules the work immediately. This integration means you can map out refactoring steps while looking at your files in Cursor. Cursor calls the server to build your timeline as you write code.
Keep your sprint backlog updated in Cursor
The `list_tasks` tool lets your Cursor editor pull your active backlog directly into your active workspace. Your agent checks what files match which tasks to keep your context accurate. When you submit a pull request in Cursor, the agent runs `complete_task` to update your Ellie board. You never have to manually drag cards across a board again.
Let an MCP Server manage your technical debt
The `list_lists` tool identifies your backlog boards so your Cursor agent knows where to file bug reports. It matches your code issues to real planner items. Your Cursor agent uses `update_task` to adjust priorities and add labels as your codebase changes. This MCP Server ensures your Ellie planner reflects the actual state of your Cursor repository.
