Connect Ember Climate MCP to VS Code Copilot
Create your Vinkius account to connect Ember Climate to VS Code Copilot and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Shared team configurations for energy data
Commit an MCP config to your repository using a .vscode/mcp.json file. This allows every developer on your team to access `get_electricity_generation_monthly` and `get_electricity_generation_yearly` directly from VS Code Copilot. Your engineering team can quickly verify energy generation metrics during code reviews. VS Code Copilot reads the shared configuration, standardizing how your team queries global grid data.
Track grid decarbonization in your editor
Query `get_carbon_intensity_monthly` and `get_carbon_intensity_yearly` directly from the Copilot chat panel. Doing this lets you inspect the carbon footprints of regional grids as you write environmental compliance software. The MCP server returns the emissions intensity data directly into VS Code. Your development team can use these live values to benchmark carbon tracking features and audit automated reporting systems.
Analyze multi-nation generation profiles
Use VS Code Copilot to run comparative analyses across multiple countries using `get_generation_multi_entity`. This tool provides energy generation metrics for several regions in a single query. Copilot parses the multi-nation dataset to help you write data pipelines, database seeding scripts, or analytical models. Having this data inside your editor saves time and eliminates the need for manual browser searches.
