Analyze event check-ins with Gemini.

The `list_event_checkins_log` tool pipes raw arrival timestamps straight into your Google ADK workspace. You connect this data to Gemini's long-context window to find patterns in registration desk traffic. The agent spots bottlenecks before they cause massive lines. You can pair this with `quick_event_engagement_audit` to compare actual check-ins against expected turnout. Since Google ADK integrates natively with BigQuery, your agent dumps these audit results directly into your data warehouse for post-event reporting.

Map sessions using the Eventmaker MCP Server.

Your agent reads the full event schedule through the `list_event_sessions` tool. It pulls start times, room capacities, and speaker details. You stop manually checking the event portal to see if a keynote is running late. The `list_event_exhibitors` tool grabs the complete list of partners on the expo floor. You feed this list into Vertex AI to generate targeted follow-up campaigns based on which sponsors attended. The agent handles the data extraction while you focus on the strategy.

Track live performance across active events via MCP.

The `list_currently_ongoing_events` tool tells your agent exactly which conferences are live right now. You do not have to hardcode event IDs. The agent scans your account and zeroes in on the active operations. Once it finds a live event, it calls `get_event_performance_stats` to pull real-time metrics. You get immediate visibility into attendance percentages and engagement scores. The agent formats this data and pushes it to your dashboard.

Setup guide

Set up Eventmaker MCP in Google ADK

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • google-adk package (pip install google-adk)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install Google ADK

    Run pip install google-adk to install the Agent Development Kit. MCP support is included via the McpToolset class.

  2. 2

    Connect via SSE transport

    Use McpToolset.from_server() with SseServerParams pointing to your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Create an LlmAgent

    Pass the returned mcp_tools list directly to LlmAgent(tools=mcp_tools). The ADK maps each MCP tool to a native Gemini function call — no manual schema definitions required.

  4. 4

    Run with any Gemini model

    The agent works with any Gemini model (gemini-2.0-flash, gemini-2.5-pro, etc.). Copy the full example on the right to get started with Eventmaker tools in your ADK agent.

agent.py
from google.adk.agents import LlmAgent
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_toolset import McpToolset
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_session_manager import SseServerParams

# Connect to the MCP via SSE
mcp_tools, exit_stack = await McpToolset.from_server(
    connection_params=SseServerParams(
        url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
    )
)

# Create your agent with auto-discovered tools
agent = LlmAgent(
    name="Eventmaker_agent",
    model="gemini-2.0-flash",
    instruction="You have access to Eventmaker tools via MCP.",
    tools=mcp_tools,
)

Common questions about Eventmaker MCP in Google ADK

Install the `google-adk` package via pip. Set up the `McpToolset` using `StreamableHttpServerParameters` with your Vinkius URL. Pass that toolset into your `LlmAgent` initialization.
Yes. You can apply the `tool_names` filter when configuring the `McpToolset`. If you only want the agent to read the schedule, just expose `list_event_sessions` and block the rest.
Call the `get_event_detailed_data` tool. The agent retrieves the specific configuration for that event, including metadata and limits, and loads it into the Gemini context window.
You can run `list_all_events` to grab your entire account history. Gemini can process that massive list in a single pass thanks to its 1M+ token context window.
The integration handles corporate contact details via `list_event_exhibitors`. Vinkius isolates the execution environment completely. Every request spins up a temporary container that dies immediately after the data transfers, leaving zero residual data behind.
