How to Use the ExchangeRate- MCP in Cursor
Inject real-time exchange rates into your code with Cursor. Stop using placeholder values.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect ExchangeRate- MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect ExchangeRate- to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Use live rates in Cursor code generation
The agent pulls real-time conversion values using `get_pair_conversion` and writes them into your source code. You get functional logic instead of hardcoded numbers. This MCP Server provides the precision your finance modules require. Your agent handles the integration while you review the output.
Get currency metadata inside Cursor
Use `get_supported_codes` to list all available currencies right in your editor. It makes building multi-currency support a matter of seconds. Your agent parses the list and maps the values for your functions. It keeps your code clean and accurate.
Check your API budget in Cursor
Call `get_quota` from your chat window to verify your current usage stats. It ensures your build processes stay within your subscription limits. Stay on top of your volume requirements without leaving the IDE. It is a quick check that keeps your production environment running.
